Merritt Fox, Michael E. Patterson Professor of Law; NASDAQ Professor for the Law & Economics of Capital Markets; Co-Director, Program on the Law & Economics of Capital Markets; Co-Director, Center for Law & Economic Studies, Columbia Law School, will present a legal and economic analysis of fraud-on-the-market law suits, with particular emphasis on the matters at issue in the Halliburton II case decided by the Supreme Court this June.
