Kenneth G. Langone Professor of Business, Professor of Finance
Professor Hasbrouck teaches at New York University's Stern School of Business, where his recent course offerings include Foundations in Finance, a Ph.D. seminar in Market Microstructure, and an MBA class on Financial Markets: Structure and Dynamics. He joined the NYU faculty in 1983, where, prior to becoming the Kenneth G. Langone Professor of Business Administration, he was a Professor of Finance (1995 to 2002), Associate Professor (1986 to 1995), and Assistant Professor (1983 to 1985). He also serves as an Advisory Editor for the Journal of Financial Markets, Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Econometrics, Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Intermediation, Associate Editor for the Journal of Finance Research Letters, and previously served as an Editor for the Review of Financial Studies. He is also the author of Empirical Market Microstructure (Oxford University Press, 2007).
Professor Hasbrouck served on the NASDAQ Economic Advisory Board (1998 - 2001), as a Visiting Research Economist at the New York Stock Exchange (1990 - 1992), and the Scientific Advisory Board for ITG, Inc. (1999 - 2003).
